How does the process of finding a babysitter work?
If you know the dates you need a babysitter you can list them on your application. Once we receive your application we will match you with a babysitter and charge a one time processing fee to your credit card. In addition, there is a daily or overnight fee charged to your credit card for each day/overnight you book a babysitter.
Can we meet the babysitter before she comes to our home?
With as-needed care, generally we match you with a babysitter that you do not meet beforehand. However, you can speak with her over the phone prior to her coming to your home to give her details about your children, etc.
Can I get the same babysitter each time?
You can request your preferred babysitter when you have dates that you need. However, we can’t always guarantee that she will be available each time. If you are going to use a babysitter regularly we recommend trying out a few different babysitters so your children become comfortable with others if your preferred babysitter isn’t available on the date requested. Requesting a week or two in advance will give you a better chance of having your preferred babysitter available.
How much do babysitters charge?
Most babysitters will charge in the range of $13-$18 per hour based on the number of children, duties required of them, and their level of experience. This can be negotiated between the family and babysitter over the phone beforehand.

What happens if I need someone at the last minute?

What happens if my child is sick and can’t go to daycare?
No problem! Our babysitters can come into your home and care for your child while you are at work. We request that you give detailed information about the illness your child has so we can brief the babysitter. Please note, babysitters are not medical professionals and will only provide non-medical care to your child.
