Fast Food….Fast or Not So Fast?

So I’m officially a soccer mom driving the soccer mom van!  Today my 14 year old son started soccer with the Gwinnett Soccer Association team.  This is the first time I’ve had to drive around to activities, so I’m a bit frazzled with the fast pace of keeping up with my two youngest (5 and 3) and trying to balance traveling in the car and having time to make supper.  I must say I was guilty tonight of going through the McDonald’s drive thru for the dollar menu! :-/  Not the best of foods to pick, but the fastest thing to order when its getting to be 7pm, you have no groceries in the house, and your kids are supposed to be in bed by 7:30pm!  Or so I thought it would be the fastest thing to order!  Well, I ended up waiting for 10 minutes at the front of the drive thru line right past the food window because our McChickens weren’t cooked yet…so we are sitting there and some rude guy got his food and sped past me and yelled out his window “Get a move on!”  I was a bit miffed!  #1, The window server guy told me to wait there and #2,  I wasn’t in anyone’s way other than them pulling around me a little bit!  So a lady finally comes out of the restaurant with two bags of food and says to me “McChicken and fries?”  I say “Yes.”  So she hands me a bag.  I look in it and there is only one sandwich and one fry when I ordered 3 of each!  By this time the lady was across the parking lot delivering my food to someone else, so she finally realized she had mixed the bags up and gave us our food.  So much for fast food, huh?  Wouldn’t it be great if there was a free “miracle mom” that would be some type of robot that would clean your house and cook you dinner while you were out running errands or driving the kids to activities?!  A hot home cooked meal on the table when you got home would be the best ending to a busy day…especially if you didn’t have to clean it up either!  ;-)
